I’ve noticed a lot of discord in the fandom–a lot of people leaving, thinking about leaving, talking about how unhappy they are, an overabundance of negativity and a lot of fighting going on.
I am 99% certain, that Josh would NOT be stoked to know that’s what’s happening here.
I opted to start this as a side blog, at first, just to help me stay positive, upbeat, and remember how to be the best person I possibly could be, amidst all the craziness that was going in my life, both online AND off.
But then I thought–why not share it with the rest of you? So many people have said to me, “I just want to enjoy Josh and get back to having fun and being happy. I want a place I can go to escape the drama!”
So, thus, I give you…THE HAPPY HUTCHERWIFE.
This idea may tank, but I wanted to give it a whirl. You never know if you don’t try, right?
There’s a couple of things I plan to do with this blog:
- Fandom Kudos – I know that there was a blog dedicated to sending ”love” to and from people in various fandoms, but I’ve seen a severe decline in ours, or only small groups people receiving them. That’s why I highly encourage everyone to send in a kudos (you can do it signed in or through anon), to a fellow tumblr user you appreciate. Maybe one you don’t talk to that much, or don’t know well, but you enjoy their posts and want them to know. Even a small gesture of appreciation can make someone feel really special.
- Positive Pictures – A lot like the old sexual frustrations, only not sexual, and not frustrating. I want to make Josh edits with inspirational sayings, wisdom, and even quotes from the Hutch himself, which will help to remind us all while we’re here in the first place!
- Advice – I answer a lot of this on my fandom blog now, but I’m hoping to move it over here and get an archive going for anyone who may want to read about struggles others have gone through/are going through. Sometimes, knowing you’re not alone in a battle can make things seem a little less terrible.
- Reblogs from other great sources of material, like staypozitive and thedailypositive (both ridiculously awesome blogs!)
I hope you all will check out THH, and if you feel compelled, give the blog a follow.
One of my resolutions this year was to become more zen, so I’ll be reading, learning, trying to get back on the road to positivity to spread it through the Hutcherfandom and beyond–right along with you!
